Gingerbread Boys

When you are the one who likes spice cookies but you are also the one who cannot eat.. Life is tricky indeed..hihihihih So my son likes the process of making gingerbread or the part of using the cookie cutter but since he was not too crazy about the gingerbread cookies he has tried so far I usually opted to make sugar cookies.

That is until today!!!

Apparently is only a matter of finding the recipe he likes...

Well, short story.. I FOUND ONE ..:))))))

He ate the dough from the paddle attachment, then the next day he ate the cold dough before and after we rolled it out, then he ate the cookies before I added the icing, then he ate the cookies after I put the icing on..

So much for not liking the gingerbread cookies....

Too messy and too much work for something I cannot eat, don't you think???

Wish I Can Fit Inside The Tin Cans...

Even if I am not seven months pregnant, it is a wishful thinking..

But tonight I really wish that I can go with the tin cans with my brother and my sister-in-law to go see my family way across the ocean, thousand miles away, more than twenty-four hours flight......

So since my mom did not get to try any of my baking when I was home, she asked me to send her some samples. Tonight I am baking her some chocolate chip cookies that my brother "the former cookie monster" loves and I also making some Paradise Macaroons from Foodnetwork that I just got in my email. These cookies are to die for.. I know I just tried one cookie each just for quality control and SUGAR ALERT!!! ..hahhahahahah

Tomorrow we have our annual Christmas party on campus and I also promised my friend to give him some chocolate cookies for his birthday last week. So these are going to be gone by tomorrow for sure...Well, they better not be here since I would definitely eat them all (must be contagious to have a cookie monster as a brother).

It turned out the today forecast is not very good. It is raining and windy all day, so instead of finishing the paradise macaroons --which I still have to dip in chocolate and sprinkle with finely chopped macadamia. The cookies have to go just as coconut macaroons...

Apparently it rains in paradise ...
